After Me

Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of After Me ("After Me", "we", "our", or "us"), including the mobile app, web app, public website, trusted-contact flows, recipient flows, and related services (together, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Questions? Contact support@sanghance.com.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of After Me is lawful where you live and where your trusted contacts and recipients live.

2. What After Me does

After Me helps you create encrypted instructions, choose recipients, add trusted contacts, set check-ins, and configure a release workflow. If check-ins are missed and the required trusted-contact confirmations are completed, the Service attempts to release the selected instructions to the recipients you chose.

After Me is a private instruction and delivery service. It is not a legal will, estate plan, probate service, emergency response service, welfare check service, insurance product, financial adviser, medical adviser, or substitute for professional advice.

3. Account and security

You are responsible for your account, devices, credentials, data password/PIN, trusted-contact choices, and recipient details.

After Me is designed so secured instruction content is encrypted before upload. We do not store your data password, PIN, or master key in plaintext. If you lose access to your account, device, data password, PIN, or required recovery material, we may not be able to recover your secured content.

You must notify us promptly at support@sanghance.com if you believe your account or device has been compromised.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

After Me cannot verify whether your instructions are legally valid, complete, current, safe, or appropriate for your situation.

5. Trusted contacts and recipients

Trusted contacts and recipients have different roles.

Trusted contacts may receive invitations, recovery passcodes, check-in alerts, verification requests, and other messages needed to confirm whether release should proceed. Trusted contacts do not receive your secured instruction content unless you also select them as recipients.

Recipients receive only the specific instructions you assigned to them, and only after your configured release conditions are met. Delivery is attempted using the contact information and settings available at the time of release.

You understand that trusted contacts and recipients are independent people. We do not control whether they respond, keep their contact details current, read released instructions, or act on anything they receive.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the instructions, attachments, audio, and other content you create or upload ("Your Content").

You grant us a limited license to host, store, encrypt, process, transmit, display, and release Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service and to carry out your configured release settings.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share Your Content, and that Your Content and your use of the Service do not violate law or anyone else's rights.

7. Privacy and encryption

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By using the Service, you also agree to the processing described in the Privacy Policy.

Secured content is encrypted before upload and is not readable by us during normal account storage. When release conditions are met, the Service may temporarily process decrypted content only as needed to deliver the selected instructions to your recipients.

8. Delivery limits

We work to make release and delivery reliable, but delivery is not guaranteed. Delivery can fail, be delayed, or be incomplete for many reasons, including incorrect contact details, expired links, unavailable recipients, inactive trusted contacts, missed notifications, app store or device issues, email/SMS/WhatsApp provider failures, internet outages, legal restrictions, abuse controls, or events beyond our reasonable control.

After Me does not certify death, incapacity, disappearance, emergency status, or legal entitlement. Trusted-contact confirmation is a product workflow, not an official determination.

9. Payments and purchases

Some features may require in-app purchases or paid access packs. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to the applicable store terms, payment rules, tax rules, and refund policies.

Purchases unlock the feature limits described in the app or store at the time of purchase, subject to these Terms and continued operation of the Service. A purchase does not guarantee that any instruction will be successfully delivered, received, read, or acted upon.

If a permanent shutdown is planned, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and a way to export available data, where feasible and lawful.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may investigate, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts or workflows that appear to violate these Terms or create risk to users, recipients, trusted contacts, the Service, or others.

11. Communications

You authorize us and our service providers to send transactional communications related to the Service, including verification codes, account alerts, check-in reminders, trusted-contact invitations, verification requests, recipient release messages, delivery updates, support replies, and purchase/account notices.

Message delivery may use push notifications, email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app messages, or web links. Carrier, messaging, and data charges may apply.

12. Account deletion and export

You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion and export controls may be available in the app. You can also contact support@sanghance.com.

Deletion may remove encrypted content, contacts, release settings, and account data, subject to retention needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, accounting, app store, backup, or operational reasons.

Before deleting your account, export anything you need. Deletion may be irreversible.

13. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, plans, workflows, apps, websites, or integrations. We may also set storage, attachment, trusted-contact, recipient, note, rate, or usage limits.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability.

14. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party services, including Firebase/Google, Apple App Store, Google Play, messaging providers, email/SMS/WhatsApp providers, device operating systems, browsers, networks, and payment systems. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, delays, fees, rejections, or failures.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

15. Intellectual property

After Me, Sanghance, our logos, designs, software, website, documentation, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of our intellectual property.

You may use the Service only as allowed by these Terms and applicable law.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, misused the Service, failed to pay where payment is required, or used the Service in a way that could harm users, trusted contacts, recipients, us, or others.

You may terminate your account by deleting it or contacting support.

17. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.

We do not warrant that instructions will be delivered, received, read, followed, legally effective, or suitable for your needs.

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, or for loss of data, content, revenue, profits, goodwill, or opportunity.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 5,000 if you paid nothing in that period.

These limits apply even if a remedy fails its essential purpose. Some laws do not allow certain limitations, so some limits may not apply to you.

19. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, your trusted-contact or recipient choices, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.

20. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you, courts in Hyderabad, India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service, law, or store requirements change. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice through the app, website, email, or another reasonable method. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
